A crucial part of maintaining eye health is getting regular eye exams. Eye examinations allow your optometrist to measure and treat any changes in your vision, as well as more severe conditions such as macular degeneration, glaucoma and diabetes.
Digital retinal imaging (DRI) is a quick and non-invasive method of capturing detailed images of your eye, and its components. These images allow us to keep track of your eye health and enable early detection of any ocular diseases.
Visual Field tests measure your range of central and peripheral vision. These tests are instrumental in screening for glaucoma, optic nerve damage or peripheral retinal diseases. Depending on your eye conditions during your examination, your optometrist may recommend a field test. A range of tests are available and are simple and non-invasive.
Once you’ve picked out your preferred eyewear, you need to ensure that it fits perfectly and works effectively. Our specialist team provide fittings to ensure your vision is fully optimised and you’re comfortable with your treatment choice.
Peninsula Eyecare Izzards Optometrists are a proud provider of the NSW Spectacles Program through Vision Australia. The program provides subsidised glasses and vision aids for eligible recipients, including low income families, children, seniors and people with disabilities.
Providing eyecare through the Government of Australia for those who serve or have served in the Australian Defence Force, and their families.
